Stop Light Casio Royale

The AE-1200’s separate display windows make a natural starting point for a stop light colour scheme. Red fills the circular display on the left, yellow colours the world map and green runs across the main time display. A narrow blue window above the map adds one more accent to the familiar Royale face.

Coloured gel filters give each section its own colour while the dark LCD segments remain visible through them. The black faceplate keeps the windows clearly separated, making the red, yellow and green stand out against the original white markings.

A stainless steel case frames the display with a bright polished bezel. The orange FKM strap takes the colour beyond the face, with raised sections and a textured surface that suit the chunky case. It is a playful take on the Royale’s instrument-panel layout, with each small screen doing something different.
